Would like to pop over if I may Tony, would like to take the BMW sport springs I've saved for mine off the struts from a scrapper. Can ditch the struts then.
Also have a knock from the rear (rebuilt) which sounds like shock top mounts which were new. Need a beefy helper, or 7 stone weakling will probably suffice, to lift off the hardtop to access them.
Want to see Grumps white Z4
You will Adrian, been a while 👍🏼

It was nice to see the Happy Chappy again too. Stripped 4 front struts for the sport springs for Adrian, which didn’t take long using the “new” tool. Oil and filter on Paul’s E85 was straight forward, followed by a road test to the Cafe. Adjusted parking brake shoes on Dave’s trusty 2.2. Till next time fellas, good to see you all.

Tony.

Good day at the shed today. On top of doing the oil change on the Zed, so much easier using the vehicle pit and taylor made oil drainer.
Usual banter and great to meet up with friends, Alex (alenod), Dave (Mint) and Adrian (Synclaire) and welcome back to zed land for me old mate Dave (the grumps).
Big thanks to Tony and Shirl for the warm welcome, hospitality and help.
Great way to spend a morning, with the added bonus of fixing some Zeds

Enjoyed the run over from Grumps' place too;), apart from some awful potholes.

We had dinner in an equally salubrious setting with Dave (aka mint) enthralling everyone with 'What's My Job In 5 ' game ;) while the gaffer had his pinney on making tea/coffee.

Oops, sorry, tad late, but the rugby was on !

Very enjoyable morning, nice to see everyone, thanks @t-tony & Shirl for the hospitality, and @Paul Rice for the butty run !

I think the seasons have now turned at last, if pressed I might confess to putting the roof up once past Worksop on the way home . . .

But happy winter days Zedding ahead, crisp days, open roads, no leaves on trees, looking forward to it . . .

I remember a time when it would have been wall to wall Z3s on that drive. Evolution I guess. =)) Good to see the shed open.
